We had a great oral history training workshop this week. Colin Hyde, from the East Midlands Oral History Archive, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable in training 12 members of Tideswell how to do oral history. The room in the Tideswell School of Food was packed. We went through some examples of other projects, and learnt about preparing and conducting interviews. Everyone had a go interviewing their neighbour.

We now have 12 enthusiastic oral historians raring to go.
